- 1971 – founded by Ted Norton – primarily new construction siding company
- 1979 – Ralph Feurer joins Norton's
- 1983 – Add windows to product line
- 1986 – Moved into first company owned location at 1335 W. 7800 S.
- 1990 – Added roofing to product line
- 1991 – Began producing Aluma crown patented trim products
- 1992 – Won 10 HBA Parade of Home blue Ribbons from 1991–2001
- 1998 – Ted Norton retires– Shawn Feurer buys his interest
- 2001 – Purchased 22,000 sq ft warehouse and office at 621 W. 7300 S.
- 2003 – Joined CCN
- 2004 – Won CCN Rookie Company of the Year Award
- 2005 – Nominated for the following CCN Awards
- Sylvia Fenton – Office Manager of the Year
